I’m back! Hi, everyone!
I missed you all and I missed sharing my exciting and amusing experiences as a wedding photographer (now based in Manila!). And as a comeback gift for you, I have a very special story in my pocket today.
It’s about the amazing Manila- based couple whose wedding I covered last November 2017, Ryan and Jinel.
Now, if you think they’re rather ordinary, wait until I tell you their story and how they DIY their wedding! Yup! That’s right, these two, with the help of their very supportive family and friends handcrafted this:

and (yah) this:
Like, seriously? Yes! (applause to their calligraphy artist Kate Añoso for those letters!) And if you’re wondering, here’s the story.
Ryan and Jinel just happened to be both Industrial Design graduates of UP Diliman, College of Fine Arts. So that pretty much explains their love for arts and crafts.
The two met at work at the Design Center of the Philippines, fell in love, and decided to #createlifetogether. Their love and passion for creating things was showcased in no other than the most special day in their lives- their wedding.
It was a very intimate one with their family and friends at Casa Luminaria in Lipa City.
They actually call it a simple wedding, but then I was like “Seriously? It’s so beautiful it really did amuse me!”
They’re a shy couple, but around their loved ones, they shone the brightest that day. So proud of you two Ryan and Jinel.
It was indeed the best day ever, made special by your creative minds and skilled hands. Cheers to your life together!
